Music producers rarely get the recognition they deserve. We’re here to analyze the various beat making techniques of some of our favorite producers. From J Dilla’s drum swing, to J.U.S.T.I.C.E. 5/17 BLAP On The Radio was a little short staffed since !llmind and Stoni were in Miami for the iStandard Beat Camp. Luckily the homie Quest stepped up to help out with the hosting duties along with the great engineerMatt Weiss from Philly. M31RK decided to do an extended live BLAPorCRAP segment. We had a lot of fun critiquing beats from the inbox and interacting with the listeners from the chat room. Had 2 Pranks calls in the process. At the end M31RK suggested we should have a BLAPorCRAP Sample flip for the 5/24 show. Let’s see who has the best sample chops and creativity.
